A new project

I mentioned a couple of posts ago, that I had gotten some new yarn and started a project with it already. This is the project:

I bought Misti Cotton to use wih the cardi (Vogue Knitting Spring/Summer 2004), and started it immediately. The cotton is SO nice to work with, and since it's on size 7's, knits up quickly. So quickly that I have already knit the back and the 2 front pieces and am on the sleeves. The back:

I'm trying something new and working both sleeves at once:

Do you like the colors? I love the green and blue together...

A little birdie named Helen sent a package to me. I helped her find video hosting, and she sent me a little something as a thank you. Totally uneccesary, but look at how lovely this yarn is!! Thanks Helen!!

Oh yes, I do like the blue and green together! I'm knitting up a pullover that's got a very similar color scheme. How do you like the Misti Cotton? It looks beautiful from here! And that Giotto from Helen is delish.

Two sleeves at once is the ONLY way to go. They seem to go so much faster and you have think about the increases and decreases only once!

The sweater looks lovely as does the Colinette!

It looks just lovely and the colours go together well!
I don't only knit both sleeves at once, but also the back and both front parts when knitting a cardigan.

I like the color combo! Was wondering what sweater you were referring to. I haven't started Pico yet. I'm still chicken.

Oh, I love that cardi - I have eyed the pattern several times pondering knitting it... can't wait to see your version of it!

That cardi is quite nice, and I really like the color combo you selected. The Misti Cotton looks like it would be a pleasure to knit.
