An SP package!

I found a box on my doorstep on Monday. It was from my Cheap Ass Secret Pal 2. I had her figured out already, so Ali didn't bother trying to keep it secret. Ali outdid herself, and I wonder if Ali understood the Cheap Ass part of Cheap Ass Secret Pal.

Alright, what you see there is: Banzai Spicy Mix Crackers, Flower Kiss Candy, a Crash video game (for the little one), Stretchy frogs/lizards/snakes (also for the little one), tropical tattoos, a fortune cookie book, 3 pens/markers, Hello Kitty Biscuits, postits, a heart shape box, fruit roll ups, 2 photo clip frames, 3 packages of tissue paper with hearts, macadamia nuts, a flower candle, a soap dish (candle holder?), raspberry jam, a crunchie bar and 2 flake bars. Whew. I'm a spoiled girl.

No knitting pics today. I'm working steadily on the tea shawl, and am 1/2 way thru the horseshoe lace pattern. Which means that I should be approaching the section where I stopped and frogged sometime in the next few days. And the frogging? I had made mistakes and though I was content to live with them, once I started frogging, I couldn't really stop and thought it was just easier to rip out the entire thing and start fresh. Amazingly, it didn't hurt as much as you would think.

The family went to a wedding last weekend. Both hubby and the little one were in the wedding party. I can't help but share pics of my little guy. He's such a ham, and the pics make me happy.

Good lord that boy is cute, Karen! What's the secret? Is it just down to good genetics?

Your little guy is so cute! Don't you love it when you can get them that dressed up and snap pictures?

So the little one is ready to pick up his prom date, huh? He's a handsome one. I like the 2nd photo.

(and dang! what a cheap-ass haul! do you suppose she had all that stuff just lying around?)

Agreed: I fail to see the cheap-ass part of the exchange, and your little ham is too cute. Made me smile too.

Look at that cutie in his dress-up clothes! I've never come close to seeing my guys looking that spiffy. He looks totally at ease in formalwear: this bodes well for the future.

You'd better get a baseball bat to chase all the girls away once he hits high school! ;) How precious is he in that suit???

Awwwwwww Danny's so cute!!! I bet had a good time, right? I know, only one other child there. Well it's over now. I love the Flower Candy! I used to hang out in Chinatown JUST to get that stuff. I'd have to hide it from Frank. And what's wrong with mittens on size 1s in the summer? how else to people make socks? Same concept, different limb!

Don't worry about the Startitis. We all have flare-ups from time to time. I've started two projects since the Crash of Jun 06. And I'm almost done with one of them! Hint: it's a top! for ME! You KNOW that ain't small...
